Membership

The association works with the Council to maintain and improve amenities on the allotments. We especially aim to provide a strong and united voice in our dealings with the Council. We also aspire to improve the site for all.

We offer a range of benefits to our members and organise social activities. The cost of membership is £5 per year for family/unit membership. Membership is only available to plotholders and their families. However, you do not need to be an association member to get an allotment.

The Benefits of Membership

· Public Liability Insurance to cover accidents to any member of the public on your plots

· Affiliated to Royal Horticultural Society and National Allotment Association

· Regular newsletter

· Summer BBQ and other social events

· AGM

· Bulk ordering of manure and mushroom compost in the Autumn

· Use of communal shed (deposit required for key)
